My Background

I worked as an information scientist in the drug and communication industries for many years then developed a keen interest in complementary therapy. I qualified in Reflexology and then Polarity Therapy. I'm a Member of the Association of Reflexologists (MAR) and the Polarity Network (PTP). I was impressed by the beneficial effects of Kundan Mehta's Indian Face Massage and became qualified to practise her treatment in 2008.

I became interested in understanding more about energy and this led me to an appreciation of the benefits of sound from a therapeutic perspective. I decided to train with the British Academy of Sound Therapy (BAST) and am now a qualified Sound Therapist. I continue to study new techniques and therapeutic approaches, incorporating these into all my treatments where appropriate.

A few years after qualifying in Reflexology I began teaching the Reflexology Diploma course at Raworth in Dorking and became respon- sible for course development as well as Maternity and Fertility Reflexology workshops. I have now set aside my teaching activities so that I can concentrate on my therapy practice and have recently moved back to my home town of Edinburgh.
